SIFE PentVars Wins Best Project

The Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) of PentVars have won the 2nd Best Entrepreneurship Project at the SIFE National Exposition. SIFE PentVars place second with their ‘Rise in Peace’ project.
The award included a sponsorship package from the Global Management Challenge, sponsored by the American Embassy in Ghana.
The SIFE PentVars team was accompanied by the two Business Advisory Board members, Mr. Sam Tuffour and Madam Emilia Danquah. The SRC President Mr. Jonathan Mbir was also present to give the team some moral support.
The SIFE National Exposition is an annual competition to select the best team to represent Ghana during the SIFE world cup. Eighteen tertiary institutions participated in this year’s event.
The 2012 SIFE Ghana National Exposition was held at the International Conference Centre in Accra. The two day event was climaxed with a dinner at the Barclays Club House.
Mr. Philemon Korankye said though they could not win the ultimate prize, their efforts were recompensed by the 2nd Best Entrepreneurship Project Award.
