1. Purpose, Vision, Mission and Core values
Purpose
To acquire, organise and provide effective access to scholarly multi-media information sources that promote teaching, learning and research.
Vision
The library will be a leading customer centred provider of excellent, national and globally competitive information service and access to scholarly resources.
Mission
PUCL is to become a globally significant gateway to scholarly information to promote teaching, learning and research.
These shall be achieved through the following;
- Develop and sustain a highly user-centred service culture.
- Secure, facilities, technology and funding that promote this new culture.
- Deliver information literacy program that promote effective utilization of our services and collection.

2. Location
In keeping with its central role in the academic and social life of PUC, the library is located at the heart of the University Campus. It has easy access to lecture rooms, hostels, administration and the academic departments it serves.
3. Staff
A team of trained and motivated staff are on hand to assist, train and advice students on how to use the services and collection to their best advantage. |
