The student  leadership, with the support from the administration, plans periods of recreation and activities that promote fellowship among the student body.

DEPARTMENT OF STUDENT AFFAIRS

The Department of Students Affairs, under the direction of the Dean of Students is a segment under the University’s administration. It works with a number of officers and individuals to provide services to students. The main objective of this Department is to give students the opportunity to explore, identify, examine and develop their potentials in many ways including extra curricula activities.

This Department consist of professional staff members working on students concerns in areas such as sports, counseling, career services, residential life, clubs and students’ organisatations, as well as other student activities.

Programmes and activities include orientation of new students, life skill programmes and many different types of cultural, recreational and social events. The Office of Students Affairs assists club and organizations such as the SRC to foster leadership skills, attract different talents, and afford new opportunities. Suggestions as to how to continuously improve the services are welcome. Such suggestions can be sent to us through pro@pentvars.edu.gh.

The Office of Student affairs shall be housed in the Administration Block at the office of Dean of Students. The Dean of Students shall handle all matters related to students shall be committed to helping and facilitating a conducive environment for the students’ academic and social welfare. To achieve this, the Dean of Students shall work closely with the SRC and also liaise with the administration and the students. Individual students are encouraged to feel free to see the Dean of Students whenever there is the need.
