Bender Owusu Awarded the Most Industrious Student Entrepreneur in 2018
Mr. Bender Owusu Bediako Antwi, a Level 6 Business Management (ABE) student of Pentecost University College, received the most Industrious Student Entrepreneur 2018 Award at the just ended Africa Tertiary Entrepreneurs (ATEA) Awards which was held on Saturday, 24th November 2018 at the Tomerik Hotel East Legon.
The award was in recognition of Bender’s innovative and transformational motive in entrepreneurship on campus and beyond.
Bender is the CEO of COCOBENZ, a fruit beverage company that sells and offers delivery services to its clients. The company deals in fresh coconut with the blends of other fruits as smoothies tailored to suit customers’ hydration needs. As a way of rendering integrated services to their cherished customer, they give them the option of choosing and combining their choices suitable for them.
ATEA is an event organized by the Aketesia Group of Companies in collaboration with K.K. Peprah Company Limited. The Awards seek to encourage student entrepreneurs to start small and link them through to the necessary fraternities to get them to the top.
Amongst 100 nominees, BENDER OWUSU BEDIAKO ANTWI from Pentecost University College was shortlisted as part of the 16 winners, who later emerged the winner from His category.
