PUC Holds Maiden Alumni Reconnect
The Alumni Relations Office in collaboration with the Advancement Office of PUC last Friday, December 7, 2018, organized the University’s first-ever Alumni Reconnect at the Sowutoum Campus.
The event brought together both Alumni and current students on one platform to interact and network, providing an opportunity for current students to learn from the University’s Alumni.
The Alumni further shared testimonies of their experiences both as students and life after school, highlighting their ups and downs during their school days and how they were able to overcome those challenges.
Charles Sakordie, a 2012 graduate, said his big take away from PUC is the principles and values that were embedded in him and that makes him a bigger ambassador for the University.
Speaking at the event, the Rector of PUC, Apostle Dr. Daniel Walker, mentioned that PUC students are doing well all over the world. He entreated all present to take a continuing interest in the university, join the Alumni Association and give back to their alma mater.
The Alumni Coordinator, Rev. Eric Adobah Thomson said that PUC has a very bright future and that PUC will become a university of choice if the Alumni themselves can sell the school. He added that PUC students and graduates carry favour everywhere they go or find themselves and the mighty hand of the Lord is always upon them.
The Alumni Association pledged to provide infrastructural support in the area of a sports complex, hostel facilities and even constructing of the road leading to the university.
