PUC Honours Joe Mettle

Pentecost University College has presented a citation in honour of award winning gospel artiste, Joe Mettle. The citation is in recognition of the awards he won at the just ended Ghana Music Awards.

Joe Mettle who is an alumnus of the university won three awards; Gospel Artiste of the Year, Gospel Song of the Year and Best Male Vocalist.

Institution Advancement Director of the PUC, Rev Dr. Emmanuel Apea said, Joe Mettle’s performance has been a source of pride to the university and been a role model to the youth.

He added that the university in recognition of the contribution of the gospel musician decided to present the citation to him
Joe Mettle expressed gratitude to the PUC for their training and mentoring which he said had contributed to his success as a musician.

He said the knowledge he acquired as a marketing student at the Pentecost University College had helped him to promote his music.
