Society for AIDS in Africa (SAA) donates ICASA 2017 Abstract Books to PUC
The Society for AIDS in Africa (SAA) organizers of the International Conference on AIDS and STIs in Africa (ICASA) donated 80 copies of ICASA 2017 abstracts books to Pentecost University College.
SAA is a Not-for-profit organization that collaborates with other national, sub-regional, continental and international organizations and partners to institute policies and promote research to support governments’ responses and approaches to fight HIV and HIV co-morbidities as well as emerging viral infections across the African continent.
SAA donated the ICASA 2017 abstract books to PUC as part of their outreach to mitigate the impact of HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria in Africa, by creating awareness amongst tertiary students and giving them more insights for students who are interested in undertaking research in this field.
Receiving the books on behalf of Management, the Rector of PUC, Apostle Dr. Daniel Walker, thanked SAA for considering PUC in their outreach programme and hope this will be the beginning of a lasting partnership between the two organizations.
