Global Ministers of The COP visit PUC
Some National Heads of The Church of Pentecost paid a courtesy visit to Pentecost University College (PUC) on Thursday, January 31, 2019, while in the country for the 2019 Global Ministers’ Conference.
The mission of the Pastors, from across the globe (Liberia, Malawi, El Salvador, Sri Lanka, Dominican Republic), was to familiarize themselves with the Church’s University.
Upon arrival, they were received by the Rector, Apostle Dr. Daniel Walker and the Registrar, Mr. Foster Amoani after which they were taken on a campus tour to explore and familiarize themselves with the campus’ facilities and ecosystem.
During the brief meeting with the Pastors, Apostle Dr. Daniel Walker said that the vision of PUC is to empower students to serve their own generation and posterity with integrity and the fear of God. He continued that the University runs degree, certificate and professional programmes with a growing number of international students from over 10 African countries. He encouraged the Pastors to positively project PUC to the outside world to increase International Students’ enrollment.
He further appreciated the enormous and unceasing support from The Church of Pentecost.
The Pastors expressed amazement of PUC’s atmosphere for cross-cultural studies, serene environment and state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure. They pledged to support the University and publicize the University to their members on their return.
