Pentecost University holds Commencement Service for 2023 Academic Year
Pentecost University has held Commencement Service for the first semester of the 2023/24 academic year. This took place on the University’s main campus in Sowutuom, Accra.
Speaking at the Service, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Kwabena Agyapong-Kodua thanked God for the start of the semester so far. He also urged the students to be committed to their academic and spiritual growth. The Vice-Chancellor also led a powerful prayer session for both continuing and fresh students.
In the ministration, a UK-based Ghanaian System Engineer, Dr Solomon Osei charged the students to match their expectations with the appropriate Godly attitudes and behaviours. Referencing the book of Daniel 1:6-19 in the Bible, he stressed that “attitude + behaviour = altitude.” Dr. Osei, therefore, asked them to emulate Daniel and his colleagues in the referenced text and work hard towards their dreams. He said you can dream your way to success, you have to pay for it, it is not cheap”.
Commencement Service is an essential item on Pentecost University’s annual calendar. This session was attended by scores of fresh and continuing students and staff members.
