Pentecost University has Won the Admiration of the Public – Aps Eric Nyamekye

The Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Aps. Eric Nyamekye said Pentecost University has won the admiration of the public. Aps. Nyamekye said this when he delivered the welcome address at the 13th graduation ceremony of the University, on Saturday 18th December 2021.

According to Aps. Nyamekye, “transformed operations, branding and the research approach of Pentecost University have earned the University public admiration. I am excited about the drastic improvement in the operations of the university, branding and outlook, research orientation and problem solving ethos which undeniably has won the admiration of the public.”… he said.  “I therefore commend the Council, the VC, Executive Management Team, staff and students of the University that have brought this success story.”…Aps. Nyamekye added. He further commended the University for following the Covid 19 protocols and provided a healthy environment in the midst of the pandemic.

Speaking further, Aps. Nyamekye said The Church of Pentecost places high premium on education as the tool for transforming society. As such, the Church sees Pentecost University as a unique mission field to support higher education. He therefore pledged the continued support of the church for the University to achieve its mission of training people who will transform nations.
In relation to the Vision 2023 of The Church of Pentecost, Aps. Nyamekye said various supports have been given to persons from economically challenging backgrounds to acquire tertiary education.

“So far, a total 573 students have been sponsored to Pentecost University alone under The Church of Pentecost sponsorship initiative which started three years ago.”… he said. He said the Church will continue to support the University to make it the University of choice.

On his part, the Vice-Chancellor of the University speaking at the graduation said the University is determined to produce world-class problem-solving graduates, informed by biblical ethics, schooled in critical and reflective thinking, hence intellectually and technological outstanding to meet the demands of the development of modern society.
