Pentecost University Partners with Alveus Development to Train 10,000 Electricians and Engineers in Sustainable Transportation and Renewable Energy
In a strategic move aimed at transforming Africa’s landscape in sustainable transportation and renewable energy, Pentecost University has entered into a landmark partnership with Alveus Development Ghana Limited. The collaboration was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a significant milestone in the pursuit of innovative, practical, and community-focused development solutions.
The MoU signifies a shared commitment to fostering knowledge transfer, technological innovation, and capacity-building in key sectors critical to Africa’s socio-economic advancement. The initiative is expected to train approximately 10,000 electricians and engineers, equipping them with the requisite skills and expertise to drive progress in sustainable energy and transportation systems.
The high-level meeting brought together esteemed representatives from both institutions. Alveus Development was represented by its Managing Director, Mr. Umo Antia; Chief Engineer, Mr. Appiah-Ankobeah Roland (PMP); along with a team of technical experts and strategic advisors.
Pentecost University’s delegation was led by Vice-Chancellor, Apostle Professor Kwabena Agyapong-Kodua; Pro Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kofi Busia; and Registrar, Dr. Michael Armah, reaffirming the University’s unwavering commitment to research-driven and community-centered innovation.
