PRAYERFEST 2019
PRAYERFEST is one of the major programmes of the Pentecost University College which aims at training and preparing the heart of Management, Staff and the entire student body during the first semester in each Academic year. It is a Prayer Festival where the entire University Community comes together and pray by committing the academic year and its activities into the hands of God. It is also a time where we pray to God for strength, power, protection, freshness and spiritual renewal.
The Chaplaincy Board in consultation with Management has chosen the theme “Transformation Through Encounter” (Genesis 32:28). The programme starts from Tuesday, 15th to Sunday, 20th October, 2019 at the James McKeown Auditorium at 6:30pm each night. The Guest Speaker for the PRAYERFEST 2019 is Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah of Royalhouse Chapel International.
The programme will officially be launched at a Joint College Assembly on Tuesday Morning, 15th October, 2019 at 11:00am by the Rector of the University College, Apostle Dr. Daniel Okyere Walker. There will also be praises and worship on Saturday Evening at 6:00pm and on Sunday Morning, 20th October, 2019 we will climax the programme with a thanksgiving service with the entire University Community at 8:00am prompt.
The theme for the Prayerfest 2019 is relevant because it seeks to transform and impact lives both spiritually and physically to be able to possess the PUC campus for Christ. We believe that through this programme we will have a supernatural encounter with the Lord and thereafter possess ourselves and possess others for Christ.
All students, staff and Management are entreated to participate in the Prayerfest 2019 for a greater transformation.
Be transformed and be an agent of transformation.
