Pentecost University Welcomes Inaugural Cohort of NEDmev and Laser4netzero Scholarship Recipients

The Vice-Chancellor of Pentecost University, Professor Kwabena Agyapong-Kodua, was pleased to host the first cohort of students under the Network for Zero-Defect and Zero-Waste Digital Manufacturing for Electric Vehicle Components (NEDmev) and Laser4netzero scholarship programs. These prestigious European-sponsored initiatives have granted full scholarships to talented Master’s and PhD candidates in Engineering from Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia, and Zimbabwe.

Funded by the European Commission as part of its African scholarship scheme, the program provides comprehensive financial support, including stipends, enabling scholars to pursue their studies at Pentecost University in Ghana.

During a welcoming session, the Vice-Chancellor, Apostle Professor Kwabena Agyapong-Kodua, extended his warmest congratulations to the students and encouraged them to approach their academic journey with dedication and curiosity. He emphasized the value of attaining specialized engineering expertise while also cultivating a broad intellectual perspective to become versatile and influential professionals.
