Pentecost University Invites Bids for Major Engineering Village Project
Pentecost University has officially launched an international call for sealed bids for the supply and installation of laboratory, IT equipment, and sundries to support the development of its Pentecost Engineering Village (PEV). This initiative forms part of a broader strategy to strengthen technical education and enhance job creation in Ghana.
The project is being funded by the Facility Investing for Employment (IFE), a programme by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), implemented through the KfW Development Bank. The support is aligned with the “Decent Work for a Just Transition” agenda, aimed at creating sustainable employment opportunities through infrastructure-driven skills development.
Under the tender, Pentecost University is procuring a wide range of high-tech laboratory and educational tools, including a 3D Printing Lab, Robotics and Automation equipment, Electric Vehicle Diagnostics & Retrofitting systems, and more, spanning 15 specialized lots.
Interested bidders are required to follow the International Competitive Bidding process as outlined in IFE and KfW procurement guidelines.
Bidding documents are available at the university between 9:00am and 4:00pm on working days, and all bids must be submitted no later than 13:00 GMT on 26th August 2025.
A public bid opening session will be held thereafter.
This strategic procurement reflects Pentecost University’s commitment to becoming a leader in engineering and applied technology education, creating a hands-on learning environment that responds to Ghana’s evolving industrial and innovation needs.
