Pentecost University Praised for Supporting Community-Based Initiatives.
The Hon Minister of Information Mr. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has praised Pentecost University for supporting the community. Mr. Oppong Nkrumah showered the praises when he addressed participants of this year’s Career Fair organized on the University campus in Sowutuom, Accra. He said “congratulations to Dr. Adomako Kissi who makes every effort to serve his people, and thanks to the Management of Pentecost University for supporting such good efforts.” He added that the University should continue to open its doors for such community-based initiatives so that “we can build the country together.”
Speaking on jobs, the Hon. Information Minister charged the youth to look out for opportunities in the economy which he said is challenged but growing appreciably. He further urged them to prioritize creating value; which he said brings the best rewards in spite of one’s political party, gender, ethnicity or level of education.
The Registrar of the University, Mr. Foster Kobena Amoani, who spoke on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor Aps. Prof. Kwabena Agyapong-Kodua said the University is always ready to support initiatives that seek the welfare of society.
The Career Fair was organized by the Hon. Member of Parliament for the Anyaa- Sowutuom constituency Dr. Dickson A. Kissi, with support from Pentecost University on Thursday 26th May 2022.
It was attended by scores of people from within and outside the constituency. Besides, there were also most of Ghana’s key public and private entities which offered students and participants the opportunities to explore.
