Rev Adu Multitasked Effectively for PU… VC
The Vice-Chancellor of Pentecost University, Aps. Prof. Kwabena Agyapong-Kodua has praised the outgoing Chaplain/Dean of Students Affairs of Pentecost University, Rev. Nelson Adu for his selfless service to the University. The VC said Rev. Adu served the University diligently and concurrently in multiple strategic roles. He said, “Rev. Nelson came to PU as a Chaplain, and when the Church (The Church of Pentecost) introduced the Campus Minister concept for PENSA, he doubled as such; he later became the Acting Dean of Students and was later appointed as the substantive Dean.”
The VC paid this tribute during the farewell service in honour of Rev. Nelson and Mrs Celestina Adu and family on the Pentecost University main campus in Sowutuom. The Farwell Service was chaired by the General Secretary of The Church of Pentecost, Aps. Samuel Gyau Obuobi. Aps. Obuobi was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Juliana Obuobi. There were scores of well-wishers from The Church of Pentecost, Pentecost University and the general public. These included Area Heads and ministers of God from various areas and districts of the Church.
Rev. Adu, a Pastor of The Church of Pentecost was posted to PU in 2016. In a space of 8 years, he served in diverse roles. He leaves Pentecost University for Kwadaso Worship Centre in the Ashanti Region as the Resident Minister.
