Mrs. Anita Addo -Tara
I am a product of University of Ghana and University of Cape Coast where I obtained MPhil in Theatre Criticism and B.A Theatre Studies. I also hold a Diploma in Journalism and Research from Jayee University College.
I have worked with a number of organisations including the Organisation for Cultural Exchange Programme (OCEP). There I served as the organisation’s National Coordinator responsible for the welfare of volunteers nationwide. I have also worked with the National Theatre and World Vision International. Thanks to those experiences, I gained a lot of practical experience and developed great analytical skills. Working with the University of Cape Coast as a Senior Research Assistant enabled me to gain active participation in academics and great communication skills which enables me to handle complex and diverse problems.

African Theories of Drama, Folklore, Colonisation.
My fascination with colonisation led me on a search for an authentic Ghanaian Theatre. One that is deeply rooted in the culture and heritage of Ghanaians. Authentically, one that can be identified and construed as uniquely Ghanaian.
